For the 2012 wakeboarding season, CIE will be riding behind the all new Malibu MXZ that has the super wide, extra deep bow design. This new look maximizes bow space, and combined with the wraparound lounge, it sets the seating capacity of 15 which is plenty for the crew. The design also allows for a sharp, smooth entry into the rough water which gives the eye-candy up front (ladies preferred) an enjoyable ride.
Although this is a new look from the classic Wakesetter design, rest assure that the tested hull is held to the highest of wake standards and has the best wake out of the box. That is one thing CIE loves about Malibu, the 4 stock tanks and power wedge have the capabilities to make the wake good for any rider. However, the L96 6.0L (410 HP) with 400 foot-pounds of torque allows the additional 4K of extra ballast to set the wake to “Mackin” for our required taste. The MXZ also sets the tone for its high-tech development as it was designed completely in a digital environment. Other sexy attributes that standout on this diva are the Illusion G3 tower and Malibu Touch Command. Also, the MXZ’s rear transom-seating with accessible wet storage and cup holders is perfect for me to get ready for a set or just chill with golden nectar’s. We are looking forward to getting out on the water in 2012 with this sexy machine!!
